Foundation of the consulting company apsolut by Tim Kollmeier & Thomas Herbst
The first milestones
We hire the first employees and open our first two German locations in Bielefeld and Leinfelden-Echterdingen near Stuttgart. In the same year, we conduct our first own customer event and are represented at eProcure & Supply with an exhibition booth. SAP acquires the US company Frictionless Commerce Inc. – an important milestone for apsolut as well.
Our growth continues
We pass the 15 employee mark and achieve revenues of more than 2.5 million euros.
Increasing order volumes
We are successfully launching our largest project so far with an order volume of more than 1.25 million euros.
apsolut becomes international
Foundation of the first location outside Germany by Paparao Madasu in Vijayawada, India
We celebrate 5 years of apsolut
We have mastered the global financial and economic crisis without any problems and are experiencing an upswing. We celebrate our 5th anniversary in Dusseldorf at the boxing match between Klitschko and Chambers!
Increasing revenues
apsolut achieves revenues of more than 7 million euros worldwide and wins its 100th customer.
apsolut expands further
We pass the 50 employee mark, establish a new office in Hyderabad, India, and open our first locations in Spain and the UK with offices in Málaga and London. Another important milestone for apsolut: SAP acquires Ariba. We start our first SAP Contract Management and Sourcing project with Frictionless.
First Ariba project
We establish an office near Frankfurt, Germany, and successfully implement the first Ariba projects at a very early stage.
We hit the 10 million mark
apsolut generates global revenues of more than 10 million euros and continues to expand: While apsolut India celebrates its fifth anniversary, we are establishing an office in Hamburg, Germany, and also our first location in China with a branch office in Tianjin. Another relevant step for apsolut: SAP acquires Fieldglass.
10 years apsolut
We exceed the 150 employee mark and celebrate the anniversary with our team on the AIDA. We are expanding in India by establishing a new location in Bangalore. The number of successfully implemented Ariba projects increases to more than ten.
Another revenue record
apsolut is awarded "Great Place to Work: Top employer Consulting" in Germany and achieves global revenues of around 19 million euros.
SAP Ariba MEE Partner of the Year Pt. 1
apsolut is honored as SAP Ariba MEE Partner of the Year 2017. Growth in management and team: The Senior Partner Board is established and more than 200 employees belong to the company.
SAP Ariba MEE Partner of the Year Pt. 2 + Gold Partner
We are moving up from SAP Silver Partner to SAP Gold Partner and successfully defending our title of SAP Ariba MEE Partner of the Year. We continue to expand: With the Beijing office we open our second location in China and establish a subsidiary in Vienna, Austria. In Germany, we achieved the title "Great Place to Work" for the second time and are awarded by Focus-Business as one of the top employers in the German SME sector. We achieve revenues of more than 20 million euros worldwide.
SAP Ariba MEE Partner of the Year Pt. 3
For the third time in a row, apsolut is honored as SAP Ariba MEE Partner of the Year. The DACH region is completed: With our new office in Zurich, we now also have a subsidiary in Switzerland. We are also opening a third location in China with our office in Shanghai.
15 years of apsolut
We thank you for the great journey so far and are looking forward to the coming years!
Corona can not stop us!
The first Corona case in Germany became known at the end of January 2020, after which the numbers rose worldwide. apsolut adapted to the new conditions: The team didn't let itself be stopped and served our customers as usual.
First virtual Christmas Party
After 15 years of big on-site Christmas parties, we also adapted here in the first Corona year and celebrated our first purely virtual Christmas team meeting.
We keep on growing!
apsolut continues to grow. We now employ more than 350 people and achieve a turnover of more than 28 million euros.
New international locations
apsolut expands with new locations in France, Poland, the Czech Republic and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. In addition, a new office opens in Madrid.
Our Main Event is back on-Site!
After two years of purely virtual events, we decided to hold our apsolut Procurement Convention on-site again. With great success!
SAP Partner of the Year IS&BN MEE Pt. 5
apsolut receives multiple awards: “SAP Ariba MEE Partner of the Year" for the fifth time in a row / SAP Quality Awards for first-class customer projects.
apsolut sets new records
In terms of sales and teamsize, apsolut was again able to improve compared to the previous year and set the next benchmark with more than 370 employees a turnover of more than 30 million euros!
New Office in GCC
apsolut GCC has reached a significant milestone - we've officially opened a new office in the region!
