apsolut Info Day for Procurement
Our 11th apsolut Info Day for Procurement on 1 March 2018 was a complete success. Many customers and interested parties visited our event in Frankfurt/Main to inform themselves and to exchange information on numerous current topics in the SAP environment. There were a number of highlights among our customers' practical reports in particular - including Jungheinrich AG's Customer Journey on the implementation of SAP UI5. But also the presentations by Rolf Weiland and Jens Brüning of SAP, among others on SAP S/4HANA, were very well received. We are looking forward to apsolut Info Day for Procurement 2019 with you!
BME eLösungstage
On 13 and 14 March, the 9th BME eLösungstage took place at the Maritim Hotel in Düsseldorf, at which apsolut was again represented with a booth. One highlight was our well-attended customer presentation on the topic "Digitisation of business processes in medium-sized businesses - a practical example" by Marcus Abel, Carcoustics Shared Services GmbH - the presentation of the first Snap project in the entire EMEA region! In addition, we organised two round tables on the topic of "Business Transformation - the way from on-premise to the cloud and the use of hybrid scenarios". This interactive workshop format was moderated by apsolut Associate Partner Alexander Kast and Michael Url, Professor for International Supply Management in Graz. Düsseldorf will definitely see us again next year!
SAP Ariba Live
From 23 to 25 April, SAP Ariba Live 2018 took place at the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam. This year we were represented as a Gold Sponsor with a booth and reported together with Philipp Hoffmann and Benjamin Thelen from Linde AG on the implementation of Ariba Commerce Automation and Ariba SCC for our customer.
A great highlight was the participation of our founder and Managing Director Thomas Herbst in the Ecosystem Spotlight Panel, of which you can watch a short video here. We are particularly proud of the SAP Ariba MEE Partner of the Year award, which Jean-Paul Wehrens and Thomas Herbst received.
SAP Forum 2018
On 24 and 25 April we were represented at the SAP Forum 2018 in Linz. We took this opportunity not only to give a presentation entitled "Digitization of SME's business processes with SAP Ariba Snap - a practical example", but also to introduce Christian Inzko as a new member of the management of apsolut Consulting Austria GmbH. With the presentation of Mr. Inzko and the first participation in Linz we will successively expand our SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA business in Austria and are already looking forward to the SAP Forum 2019!
