Forum AUSAPE 2018 - June 6 & 7, 2018
Our Spanish team had an exciting time at our booth at the AUSAPE Forum 2018 in Málaga. Karen Bascou from the Hager Group supported the team with a session on "SAP Ariba Implementation with apsolut: taking strategic procurement to the cloud".
SAP Ariba CPO Dinner Vienna - June 14, 2018
SAP Ariba and apsolut welcomed the Austrian procurement community to Vienna in June. The special location of the event, the Park Hyatt Vienna, created a special atmosphere with insightful results in addition to the top-class guests.

eWorld Procurement & Supply London - October 3, 2018
Unique insights into innovations & latest technologies were presented at the eWorld in the QEII Centre in London. Karen Bascou, Purchasing Manager of the Hager Group, illustrated the company's customer journey to SAP Ariba in her presentation. The focus was on the new procurement processes and the question of how Hager makes its employees 'cloud-ready'.
SAP Ariba Procurement Summit London - October 10, 2018
At this year's Procurement Summit, leading industry representatives discussed the uncertainties surrounding the upcoming Brexit and current developments in the procurement sector. Our highlight was the panel with apsolut's Associate Partner Sebastian Asshauer, where the role of purchasing departments within a company and the role of employees in increasingly automated processes were debated.
DSAG Annual Congress Leipzig – October 16 – 18, 2018
At our booth at the DSAG annual congress, the transformation was the focus! We discussed with our visitors system architectures around the digital core SAP S/4HANA, possibilities with SAP Ariba as well as different integration and transformation scenarios.
SAP Ariba Info Day Hyderabad - November 2, 2018
For the first time apsolut took part in a trade event in India! The focus of the event was on SAP Ariba, its features and benefits! A special highlight were the presentations by apsoluts Peyyety Viswanath & Intiyazkhan Pathan and Takayuki Shibuya, Vice President & Head Mid Market SAP Ariba APJ.
VI Convención CPOnet in Madrid - November 6 - 7, 2018
apsolut was represented at the Spanish CPOnet Convención with a session on SAP Ariba Snap entitled "How to take medium-sized companies to the cloud with SAP Ariba". The team around Adi Abu-Taha Zitawi produced a video with their own avatars in the run-up to the event. The successful result can be seen on our Vimeo channel!

At this exclusive and practice-oriented workshop, our apsolut experts Michael Seehrich and Markus Bechtold introduced the participants to the topic of SAP Ariba Snap. Their presentation entitled "Digitizing Business Processes in SMEs with SAP Ariba - A Practical Example" inspired exciting discussions.

This year, apsolut appeared at a joint booth with its partner T-Systems in Berlin. The motto #simplyshiftingsrm brought a number of interested visitors to the booth, where they were informed about our joint consulting package.

This year we organized two of our practice-oriented roundtables. The main focus was on SAP S/4HANA Procurement, hybrid possibilities with SAP Ariba, Process Automation & Robotics and possibilities with our in-house developments such as the apsolut Supplier Cockpit.

apsolut Webinars on SAP Ariba Snap
We conducted a total of six webinars on SAP Ariba Snap in the second half of 2018. These included one webinar for the Austrian market and one for the Swiss market. In the webinar, the features of this midmarket solution were demonstrated, among other things, using a live demo. In the coming year there will be numerous webinars on this topic. The first Snap Webinar in 2019 will take place on 15 February.

On June 25 and July 27, Bernhard Sonntag, Account Executive of the apsolut Group, and Thomas Weinhardt, Account Executive of SAP SE, addressed public sector clients in Germany to provide information on how tendering processes in the context of the new e-invoicing law on November 27, 2018 can be legally compliant.
