Together with SAP Ariba, apsolut has realized the first SAP Ariba Snap project in the entire EMEA region. The customer was Carcoustics from Leverkusen, Germany, a manufacturer of acoustically and thermally effective components for the automotive industry and other branches of industry. Carcoustics is thus the first German medium-sized company to join the world's largest digital marketplace, the Ariba network, through the Snap license model.
SAP Ariba Snap is specifically tailored to the needs of mid-sized companies and is characterized by its manageable implementation costs as well as a guaranteed go-live after only 12 weeks. As part of the Carcoustics project, the six-member team consisting of apsolut and SAP Ariba employees implemented the modules SAP Ariba Buying and SAP Ariba Commerce Automation in the Partner Edition. By integrating this cloud solution into the existing SAP ERP system, Carcoustics has simplified and standardized its indirect procurement processes and thus created the basis for further international roll-outs.
