In a recent study by FOCUS Money and the IMWF Institut für Management- und Wirtschaftsforschung (Institute for Management and Economic Research) on the digital reputation of German companies, apsolut came an excellent second behind OEDIV Oetker Daten- und Informationsverarbeitung (Oetker Data and Information Processing), which is also based in Bielefeld. For the study, around 438 million online sources with .de domains were surveyed between March 2021 and February 2022 and evaluated with the help of artificial intelligence. The sources examined included news sites, forums, blogs and social media channels. To determine the overall score, indices for the tonality and reach of the articles were formed and offset against each other.
