What do we at apsolut do to keep it rolling in the War for Talents? We send our colleague Björn Buchholz on an all-day excursion with students from the fields of economics, logistics, IT and procurement.
For the students, the day begins with a tour of a steel plant and a lecture on how the "old world of steel" is putting digitization into practice. Further lectures, panel discussions and a hike in the Teutoburg Forest rounds off the agenda.
Björn Buchholz looked forward to the excursion, he stated: "I don't just want to give an impression of what the job as an SAP consultant looks like. I'm particularly interested in the students’ perspective: How do they see the world of work? What expectations and ideas do they have? I'm really looking forward to their exciting dialogues!”
apsolut collaborates with numerous universities to familiarize students with those important job profiles within SAP consulting and how we develop new tools together with young academics. This has already resulted in numerous practical applications - for example in the area of supplier lifecycle management and on the future topic of artificial intelligence.
