apsolut's expert coaching sets the first milestone for ElringKlinger AG with the switch to SAP HANA

ElringKlinger AG and the apsolut Group have been working together on joint projects since 2010. Starting with the implementation of SAP SRM, the automotive supplier has now decided to upgrade the system with migration to SAP HANA.

Together with the apsolut Group, a coaching approach was defined for this purpose, which was recorded in a workshop right at the start of the project. Apsolut's project manager, Hans-Peter Bruder, emphasizes: "Strategically, the switch to HANA represents the first important step towards a complete conversion to SAP S/4HANA at a later date.” By implementing real-time applications, the HANA technology offers much more than just an in-memory database. The SAP application also accelerates and simplifies ElringKlinger's business processes, ensures higher quality and significantly less effort in database administration. Additionally, the switch to HANA offers advantages of qualitative data analysis and simplified handling of Big Data.

With the help of apsolut's coaching approach, the ElringKlinger project team was able to provide support during implementation, documentation and testing. "apsolut ensured that everything ran smoothly during the entire changeover, so that we were able to take advantage of all the benefits of HANA within a very short space of time. The upcoming UI5 connection will enable us to further optimize our workflow and map processes across modules. Here, too, we are relying on the support of apsolut," explains Christine Schröder, Project Manager at ElringKlinger AG.
