apsolut is and will remain a “Great Place to Work”

Our own employees voted apsolut #32 in the information and communication technology category and #24 in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Yesterday, apsolut, a consulting firm that specialises in SAP-assisted procurement, received an accolade for being voted a Great Place to Work in 2022. The award ceremony took place at the Design Offices in Cologne. The Great Place to Work organisation asks employees to participate in an anonymous survey to rate their employer. As well as entering specific scale-based ratings, employees were able to submit open-ended comments.

Numerous employees left comments praising the positive corporate culture at apsolut, which, according to the respondents, expressed itself in aspects such as a great willingness to help at all levels of hierarchy and an open style of communication between managers and staff. So it’s no surprise to hear Thomas Herbst, company founder and Managing Director, say: “It’s fantastic that we have been able to uphold the spirit of apsolut even during this phase of global business growth.” Gabi Schnurr, Senior Specialist People & Culture, who, together with Julia Schober, Assistant of CEO, accepted the award on behalf of all the employees of apsolut, added: “The response rate was astounding! Of course, this also means that our employees now hold expectations of the company – and rightly so.

They want to know what will be done with their responses. We will be taking all the feedback, both positive and critical, into future departmental meetings and into our conversations with our national subsidiaries so that the spirit of apsolut can flourish internationally!”
