apsolut Group strengthens its sales team with industry experts Ferhat Eryurt and Göktürk Simsekol
With Ferhat Eryurt and Göktürk Simsekol, the specialists for SAP Ariba procurement solutions are gaining two experts from industry and management consulting for their sales team. They will use their experience and viewpoints to advise customers from the pharmaceutical, chemical and utilities sectors on digital transformation in the procurement and financial sector and to drive innovation in the procurement environment.
On 1st March 2021, Ferhat Eryurt joined apsolut as Partner, Sales and Business Development Manager. Mr. Eryurt looks back on 15 years of international experience in procurement and supply chain management at a leading global chemical company and in strategic management consulting in the chemical and pharmaceutical environment. Göktürk Simsekol joined apsolut as Associate Partner, Sales and Business Development Manager on 1st February 2021. Mr Simsekol previously spent 20 years in the chemical industry in various finance and management positions.
For both of them, the new position in an SAP procurement consultancy is a new beginning that they are very much looking forward to. "Procurement and digital transformation play an important role for companies. Efficiency, sustainability and supply chain security play an important role in the future. At apsolut, I find a noticeable hands-on mentality and high innovative strength," explains Ferhat Eryurt. As a partner, his focus will be primarily on expanding the chemical, pharmaceutical and utilities segments. This includes in particular the further development of innovative consulting services to create added business value with digital technologies.
Göktürk Simsekol discovered his interest in procurement in 2018 as project manager, department manager and transformation director during the global SAP Ariba implementation at Flint Group. His previous professional roles were in finance and business processes. "This project was also my first point of contact with apsolut. I am very pleased that I can now use my CPO and CFO expertise to drive customer-focused digitalisation in procurement," says Simsekol.
Mr Eryurt holds a degree in business administration and an MBA. With his background in industry and management consulting, he has comprehensive insight into procurement from strategy to implementation. In an international environment, Mr. Eryurt has experience in both strategic and operational procurement in the process industries. He considers the combination of industrial experience with management consulting in the age of digitalisation to be a significant added value for apsolut customers.
Mr Simsekol holds a degree in economics. Born in Nuremberg, he has implemented several global finance projects and process standardisations throughout his career. As project manager, department manager and transformation director, he has created several proprietary designs in the SAP ERP environment that have significantly streamlined finance and procurement processes. Throughout his career, he has brought his knowledge of finance and business processes in close relation to the CFO function.
